Augmented Reality Sandbox Hits Worldwide Milestone
The AR Sandbox brings earth science to life by merging hands-on play with digital effects. The 500th AR Sandbox was unveiled Feb. 7, 2018, at the Contra Costa Water District in Concord, California. The prototype sandbox and its open-source software were developed in 2012 at the W.M. Keck Center for Active Visualization in the Earth Sciences (KeckCAVES) at UC Davis. Read more at UC Davis News.
