Bio

Jackson R. Gualco contributes his extensive public policy and political experience to the College of Letters & Science Dean’s Advisory Council. Mr. Gualco is the president of The Gualco Group, Inc., a government relations and public affairs consulting firm based in Sacramento, California. His firm represents a wide array of clients from agriculture, business and the public sector. Prior to his reentry into the lobbying community, Mr. Gualco served as special assistant to Assembly Speaker Willie L. Brown, Jr. He received a Master of Arts in pastoral studies from Loyola University New Orleans, and a Master of Business Administration from Golden Gate University. Mr. Gualco went on to earn a certificate in management from UC Davis, where he received his undergraduate degree in political science – public service. He has been a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council since 2008.
