Bio

Kevin Bacon joined the College of Letters & Science Dean’s Advisory Council with over 25 years of management consulting experience. Mr. Bacon retired from IBM Business Consulting Services, where he was a vice president and management consultant in its public sector consulting practice. Prior to joining IBM, he was a senior partner and consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in its government consulting practice. Having worked in 15 states, several foreign countries, and within a range of government program areas including transportation, education, veteran’s affairs and social services, Mr. Bacon provides a unique perspective to the Dean’s Advisory Council.

Mr. Bacon received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from UC Davis, followed by a Master of Science in economics from the London School of Economics. Mr. Bacon is the founding chair of the Dean’s Advisory Council, having served since its establishment in 2007.
