As a financial professional with over 30 years of experience with Morgan Stanley Investment Management, Mark Bavoso offers his expertise to the College of Letters & Science Dean’s Advisory Council. Throughout his career, Mr. Bavoso has been recognized for his investment success, earning awards for top-performing funds and strategies. As a senior member of a global multi-asset team, he has traveled the world counselling clients and providing investment solutions to multi-billion dollar investment funds. A key focus of Mr. Bavoso’s interest in DAC centers on the tremendous success the college has had in preparing students for opportunities following their graduation and working towards enhancing those options. Mr. Bavoso earned a dual Bachelor of Arts in political science and history from UC Davis, and he joined the Dean’s Advisory Council in 2018.
