Fisher and Masiel Receive Global Affairs Teaching Awards

Two College of Letters and Science faculty members have been recognized for their outstanding global engagement work with Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Teaching of Study Abroad Awards: Jaimey Fisher, professor of German and cinema and digital media, and David Masiel, continuing lecturer in the University Writing Program.

Three College Faculty Honored for Teaching

The UC Davis Academic Senate and Academic Federation recently announced their annual awards given to members for exceptional research, teaching and mentoring, and public service. Three faculty members in the College of Letters and Science have been recognized.

30 Years of Student Writing Celebrated

This is the 30th anniversary of "Prized Writing," an annual collection of writing by students from across the UC Davis campus. All of the works are done for classes, with about 20 selected from 500 submitted. A celebration of three decades of the publication takes place Oct. 16.
